Insurance Litigation Associate – 4+ PQE | London

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading international law firm seeking an Insurance Litigation Associate (4+ PQE) to join its established London practice.

The role will focus on sophisticated contentious insurance and professional liability matters, acting for major insurers, reinsurers, corporates and professional services clients on significant domestic and cross-border disputes.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of matters, including:

• Complex insurance coverage disputes
• Policy interpretation and coverage issues
• Professional indemnity and liability claims
• High-value contentious insurance matters
• Domestic and cross-border disputes
• Strategic advice to insurers, reinsurers and corporate clients

At this level, you will have considerable scope to take ownership of matters, manage direct client relationships and supervise junior lawyers.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 4+ years' PQE gained within a strong insurance, professional indemnity or disputes practice
• Experience of contentious insurance and/or professional liability matters
• Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills
• Confidence managing matters and dealing directly with clients
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to complex disputes
