The scope of services delivered by the role-holder are flexible, dependent upon the Client’s requirements, covering both CDM and H&S Management.The key requirements of the role are to understand the Clients’ needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges and ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.Understand and develop existing systems and processes to improve both CDM and H&S efficiencyProvide expert advice and where required, act as Principal Designer and help the client manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulationsEstablishing positive relations with existing and new Clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocateRepresenting Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner including meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with Clients in a timely mannerManagement of all commissions, where responsibility is assigned, to ensure both Client's expectations / scope of service and the requirements of Turner & Townsend’s business management system are effectively dischargedCarrying out H&S performance reviews, audits etc. on behalf of the ClientLiaise, proactively and professionally, with SHQ, and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness; support others as needed and ensure consistency, quality and profitability of shared projectsCompiling and creating relevant pre-construction information and relevant H&S filesQualificationsNEBOSH Construction CertificateFull UK driving licenceNEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)GradIOSH or equivalentMembership of the APSExperience as a Principal DesignerExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlinesExtensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM RegulationsExperience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired, with a proven ability to meet Clients needs would be an advantageAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
