The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of new build and refurrbishment projects in the Manchester region. You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, to budget, and to a high-quality standard. Key Responsibilities * Manage all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to keep the project on programme * Take ownership of health & safety on site, ensuring full compliance with CDM 2015 and acting as (or supporting) the Principal Contractor role * Produce and manage the Construction Phase Plan, RAMS sign-off, and daily site records * Monitor build quality, snagging, and defect resolution to maintain the company's reputation for craftsmanship * Liaise closely with the Project/Contracts Manager, client representatives, and design team throughout the build * Manage site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing team welfare and safety briefings * Support programme and cost control alongside the commercial team About You * Proven experience as a Site Manager within contractor construction * SMSTS and CSCS (Black/Gold card) essential * First Aid at Work qualification * Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015 and current H&S legislation * Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills * A hands-on, quality-focused approach with a track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget What's on Offer * Competitive salary [£57,000 - £65,000] * Company vehicle or car allowance * Pension scheme * Genuine opportunity to join a respected, quality-focused regional contractor with a strong project pipeline
