Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer – Rail / Geotechnical Civils Bristol Area £400 per day Contract JML Jobmatcha are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in rail, geotechnical, earthworks or heavy civils projects to manage engineering delivery on a high-value infrastructure scheme. This is a site-based role with potential long-term work available. Key Responsibilities: • Managing engineering delivery on site • Producing and managing ITPs, RAMS, WPPs and QA documentation • Managing material approvals and red-line drawings • Coordinating subcontractors and engineering teams • Client meetings and site coordination • Setting out using GPS and Total Station • Managing junior engineers • Resolving engineering and logistical issues onsite • Supporting safe delivery during possessions and planned works Requirements: • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering • 8+ years’ experience in civil engineering / infrastructure • Tier 1 contractor experience • Rail, geotechnical, earthworks or heavy civils experience • Strong site engineering background • SMSTS • TWC CITB • Experience with ITPs, RAMS, QA and setting out Desirable: • PTS • AP • ALO • ICE membership Additional Info: • Bristol / South Gloucestershire area • £400 per day • Some weekends and night shifts required • Major possession works July–August 2026 • Immediate interviews available Apply now with your updated CV if you are interested in the Senior Engineer position
