Rotating shifts, weekly - but we can be open
Days or 2pm - 22.00 - early finish Friday
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance & Engineering department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, production operatives, production engineers and management to maximise productivity and minimise downtime across plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support planned maintenance and maximise equipment uptime
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) , shutdown work, and scheduled installations
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and equipment
Support installation and improvement work on equipment such as presses, robots, conveyors and bespoke machinery
Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality and productivity
Work safely and compliantly, following regulations, manuals, schematics, blueprints and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment
What Were Looking For Essential
GCSEs including English, Maths and technical subjects
Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
City & Guilds (or equivalent qualification)
Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Strong xwzovoh communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Competent with tools and maintenance equipment
Confident using computers and operating systems
Desirable
Knowledge of power presses / forming processes
PLC knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
