AI Business Development Manager – UK & EMEA About the Opportunit yOur client is an established global technology services organisation that is expanding its specialist AI capabilities across Europe and is looking to appoint an experienced AI Business Development Manager to support the next phase of commercial growth . This is a senior individual contributor role, suited to someone who thrives on opening new markets, developing strategic client relationships and winning complex enterprise opportunities. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the regional growth strategy while building a strong pipeline of new business across the UK and EME A. The successful candidate will work with organisations at the forefront of artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent automation, helping them access specialist services that accelerate AI development, improve model performance and support the deployment of next-generation AI solutio ns. This opportunity would suit an ambitious commercial professional who enjoys consultative selling, navigating complex stakeholder environments and building long-term client partnerships within a rapidly evolving sec tor. Key Responsibil itiesDrive new business acquisition across the UK and EMEA, identifying opportunities within AI, advanced technology and enterprise organisat ions.Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on sustainable revenue growth and strategic account develop ment.Generate and manage a healthy pipeline through targeted prospecting, networking, market research, industry events and referral chan nels.Lead consultative sales engagements, understanding customer challenges and designing tailored service solutions that deliver measurable business v alue.Manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through proposal development, commercial negotiation, contract execution and transition to delivery t eams.Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, technical stakeholders and strategic partners to support long-term account gr owth.Collaborate with technical, operational and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and aligned with customer object ives.Prepare compelling proposals, commercial models and presentations that clearly articulate value and return on invest ment.Monitor industry developments, customer demand and competitor activity, providing commercial insight to support future service develop ment.Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM management while consistently achieving revenue object ives. Candidate P rofileExpe rienceProven success within enterprise sales, strategic business development or complex B2B solution sales.Experience developing new business within technology, AI, digital services or consulting environ ments.A strong track record of exceeding commercial targets and managing high-value sales opportun ities.Experience building business in emerging markets or launching new service offerings would be highly advanta geous.Good understanding of the artificial intelligence ecosystem, including data services, machine learning workflows, model evaluation or related technol ogies.Qualific ationsDegree educated in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or another relevant disci pline.Additional commercial, technology or sales qualifications would be considered benef icial.Skills & Attr ibutesCommercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business relation ships.Strong consultative sales approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management s kills.Comfortable engaging with both technical specialists and senior execu tives.Highly organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple complex sales opportunities simultane ously.Analytical and strategically minded, with an interest in emerging AI technologies and market t rends.Self-driven, resilient and motivated by building new business in a fast-paced, evolving ind ustry.
