You'll also coach and mentor setter/operator machinists, promoting best practice and supporting safe, efficient production to schedule.This role would suit an experienced CNC Technician / Manufacturing Engineer with strong multi-axis machining knowledge, confident editing programmes, setting work and tooling, and reading technical drawings with GD&T, looking for a long-term, hands-on technical support role in production.The Role:Technical engineering support across production (days-based, 39 hours per week)Support NPI setups and the introduction of new productsOptimise machining processes, utilisation and efficiencyEdit CNC programmes and CAM files (engineering change driven)Coach and mentor setter/operator machinists and troubleshoot machining issuesThe Person:Extensive CNC multi-axis machining experience (precision components / difficult materials)Strong tooling, machining process, CNC programming and machine control knowledgeApprentice-trained with a recognised mechanical engineering qualificationReference Number: BBBH281177Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position.
