Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced SC Cleared Data Engineer with strong Informatica expertise to join a major public sector programme.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and modernising cloud-based data solutions, developing scalable data pipelines, and supporting critical reporting and analytics capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale government projects while providing technical leadership and mentoring within Agile delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark, Python, SQL, Informatica , and AWS services including EMR, S3, and Lambda .
Lead the migration of legacy ETL and reporting solutions to modern cloud-based platforms.
Support reporting and MI requirements, including downstream Power BI data consumption.
Drive engineering best practice through code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across product, data, and platform teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Active SC Clearance
Hands-on expertise with: Informatica, AWS, PySpark and Python
Strong Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
