Job summaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Health Knowledge and Intelligence Team at Derbyshire County Council, helping to improve population health and reduce inequalities across Derbyshire.Main duties of the jobWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication skills to lead a range of public health knowledge and intelligence programmes. The successful candidate will bring demonstrable specialist knowledge and substantial experience, particularly in applying epidemiological principles and evidence-based approaches to understand population health needs, identify trends and inequalities, and inform decision-makingAbout usUsing both quantitative and qualitative data, you will analyse patterns and determinants of health, critically appraise evidence, and translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
