Lorry Driver (7.5 Tonne)

Reports To:Operations Manager Location:Duncrue Crescent, Belfast Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday 7-4) Salary: Hourly rate £15.01, with monthly performance bonus potential £250. Are you an experienced HGV Driver who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service? At Dreams & Sofatime, we're looking for a professional and customer-focused Category C Driver to join our delivery team. This is more than just a driving role you'll play a key part in creating a positive experience for our customers by delivering quality furniture into their homes with care and professionalism. Delivering and collecting furniture safely and professionally while providing exceptional customer service. Ensuring products are loaded, secured, wrapped, and transported with care to arrive in perfect condition. Leading and supporting your driver's mate, ensuring excellent customer interactions throughout the delivery journey. Reviewing delivery routes and adapting plans where necessary, including during adverse weather conditions. Driving safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with legal requirements, tachograph regulations, and company policies. Reporting any incidents, accidents, or delivery concerns promptly. Maintaining delivery equipment and ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times. Builds positive relationships with customers, colleagues, branches, warehouse teams, and customer care teams. Takes pride in their vehicle, deliveries, and personal performance. Essential Requirements Full Category C Licence (ability to drive an 18-tonne vehicle). Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting as part of furniture deliveries.
