Employment Law Legal Director/Partner

A well-established and highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its growing team. This is a strategic hire at a senior level, with flexibility around title for the right individual.

You will join a collaborative and well-supported employment team advising a broad client base across both contentious and non-contentious matters. The role offers genuine scope to shape your position within the team, whether stepping up toward partnership or joining at partner level.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on a full spectrum of employment law matters, including advisory, contentious and transactional support
• Managing your own caseload while contributing to team-wide matters
• Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Contributing to business development and networking initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Employment Lawyer with 8+ PQE
  
• Broad employment law experience (no narrow specialism)
• Strong technical ability across both contentious and non-contentious work
• Commercial, pragmatic approach to client advice
• Personable, team-oriented, and culturally aligned
• Some supervisory experience advantageous, but not essential
• Interest in business development and growing a practice
