HGV Technician - East Riding of Yorkshire - Nights Location: Goole Salary: £50,378 per annum + Overtime Hours: 4 on, 4 off | 6:00pm-6:00am Contract: Permanent Overtime: £28.51 per hour Looking for Your Next HGV Technician Opportunity? We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance operation in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a permanent night-shift position, with strong earning potential, overtime opportunities and ongoing technical development. Working Hours The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern: 4 nights on: 6:00pm-6:00am 4 days off The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard. Duties will include: ·Servicing, inspection, maintenance and repair of HGVs and trailers ·Mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic fault finding ·Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults ·Electrical repairs and component replacement ·Welding and metalwork when required ·Preparing vehicles for MOT/DVSA inspections ·Accurately completing job cards and maintenance records ·Supporting apprentices and other members of the workshop team ·Carrying out repairs and inspections on workshop equipment when required About You The successful HGV Technician will have: ·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, or proven HGV Technician experience ·Previous HGV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience ·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills ·Good mechanical and electrical knowledge ·Ability to use hand and power tools confidently ·Full UK Driving Licence ·Class 1 licence desirable but not essential ·Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Training & Development There are opportunities to develop your skills through additional technical training, including: ·IRTEC ·LOLER / Weight Testing ·BPW ·Operator Licence Awareness ·Deck Training ·FLT training What's on Offer? ·£50,378 salary ·4 on, 4 off night shift ·6:00pm-6:00am ·Overtime paid at £28.51 per hour ·Pension ·Life assurance ·Retail discounts ·Cycle to Work Scheme ·Medical benefits ·24/7 employee support ·Ongoing training and development ·Long-term career progression ·£1,000 refer-a-friend scheme Apply Today If you're an experienced HGV Technician looking for a permanent night-shift opportunity in Goole with excellent overtime earning potential and career development, we'd love to hear from you.
