Groundworker Dumper/Roller Drivers

Teamforce Labour is currently seeking experienced Groundworkers with Dumper/Roller qualifications for a major project in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH17.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors on an important infrastructure project.

Requirements:
✅ Experience: Proven experience working as a Groundworker on civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
✅ References: Two recent professional references required.
✅ Groundworks: Strong experience in drainage, excavations, ducting, foundations and general groundworks.
✅ Plant Operation: Experienced in safely operating Forward Tipping Dumpers and Ride-on Rollers.

Certifications:
✅ Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – Groundworker NVQ Level 2.
✅ Blue CPCS / NPORS (CSCS Affiliated) – Forward Tipping Dumper.
✅ Blue CPCS / NPORS (CSCS Affiliated) – Ride-on Roller.
✅ Safety Critical Medical – Preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general groundworks, including drainage, excavations, ducting, foundations and associated civil engineering works.
Safely operate Forward Tipping Dumpers and Ride-on Rollers in accordance with site requirements.
Assist with trench preparation, pipe laying, backfilling and reinstatement works.
Undertake ground preparation, levelling and compaction activities.
Work safely around existing underground utilities and live services.
Conduct daily plant inspections and report any defects.
Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and comply with all site health and safety procedures.
