We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician (In-House Electrician) to help keep our distribution centres safe, efficient, and running like clockwork.
You’ll be part of our Estate Operations team, working hands-on across our sites and keeping everything in top shape—while making sure any contractors we use deliver the same high standards.
Salary: £38,975.00 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Full time permanent contract
Location: Crewe – travel to other sites will be required on an ad hoc basis to support maintenance activities or project work
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
Keeping on top of planned maintenance (PPMs) and hitting agreed timelines
Jumping on faults quickly, diagnosing issues, and fixing them properly
Prioritising jobs so the right things get done at the right time
Flagging when something can’t be repaired and recommending the right fix
Carrying out repairs, installations, and minor works across our sites
Completing testing and certification where needed
Carrying out site surveys and writing clear, useful reports
Looking after your tools and making sure everything’s safe to use
Ordering parts when needed to keep things moving
A Few Things About You:
C&G 2382 (18th Edition)
Level 3 electrical qualification (e.g. C&G 2365 or equivalent)
Experience working with 3-phase electrics
It’d be great if you also have:
Experience completing electrical certification
City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection)
Time served or solid experience in a similar role
