Department Overview:
The Digital Commerce team drives the online performance of Michael Kors across all EMEA sites, blending commercial strategy with hands-on site merchandising to grow sales and elevate the customer experience. Sitting within the MK Ecommerce division, the team partners closely with Buying, US Web Merchandising and Web Production to launch and optimise product online, and this role reports into the Senior Manager, Digital Commerce EMEA.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Site Merchandising & Product Launch Support
- Support the implementation of site merchandising strategies, using KPI performance analysis to inform decisions and deliver against agreed timelines.
- Work cross-functionally to collect all necessary product data ahead of seasonal launches, partnering with US teams to ensure in-stock products, including EMEA exclusive styles, are accurately merchandised and live online in full and on schedule.
- Manage tracking documents for products not on site, communicating and following up to ensure the timely launch of newness to the sites.
- Support Site Merchandisers with all product catalogue upload activity and visual merchandising for the websites.
- Assist with the timely preparation and execution of seasonal sale and promotional activity.
- Validate site updates and email activity prior to go-live, ensuring correct messaging and linking in line with agreed strategy.
Reporting, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Complete weekly website audits to ensure high standards of accuracy and consistency across all sites and channels.
- Support daily and weekly reporting against site metrics and key KPIs, ensuring actions are taken each week to drive incremental conversion and sales.
- Produce ad-hoc and post-event analysis of key site activity, identifying actionable insights.
- Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with the US Web Merchandising, Web Production and Buying teams, sharing best practice and identifying conversion-driving opportunities.
- Ensure clear, consistent communication with the Digital Commerce team and wider Ecommerce team, contributing proactively to team meetings.
You'll Need to Have:
- Around two years' experience in an ecommerce role, ideally within an international retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills, confident working with performance and web metrics data (e.g. Adobe Omniture).
- Experience with SFCC, Product Information Management systems, and BI tools such as MicroStrategy or similar.
- Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive, proactive problem-solving attitude and a confident communicator who collaborates effectively.
