About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Dispatch Operative to join the busy logistics team in Bridgwater. This is a fast-paced role within a well-established food production environment, ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking and enjoy working as part of a team.

As a Dispatch Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring finished products are picked, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and efficiency while helping to keep the warehouse and dispatch operation running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse using manual handling equipment
• Completing dispatch paperwork and scanning products where required
• Carrying out quality and stock checks
• Ensuring products are stored and dispatched in line with company procedures
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and warehouse regulations at all times
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working as part of a team to meet daily dispatch targets
