SEN Teaching Assistant - Birmingham
Do you have experience supporting children with additional needs and want a rewarding role within primary education?
Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting reliable and supportive SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Birmingham.
We have flexible opportunities available ranging from day-to-day support to longer-term placements. Roles may involve working 1:1 with pupils or supporting small groups of children with a range of special educational needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on children’s education and development.
The Role:
* Support pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support learning
* Provide 1:1 or small group interventions
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
* Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification ideally
* Previous experience working with children with SEN preferred
* Experience within UK primary schools or education settings desirable
* Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
* Relevant qualifications or TA experience beneficial
