As a Sales Specialist at Yamaha Music London, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while helping customers find the right musical instrument for their needs. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to every visitor, creating a welcoming and engaging showroom experience.

Provide expert advice across Yamaha's range of acoustic and digital pianos, keyboards, and other musical instruments.

Understand customers' musical goals and recommend products that best suit their requirements and budget.

Consistently achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales targets.

Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent after-sales support and follow-up communication.

Manage enquiries via telephone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems and ensure sales documentation is completed correctly.

Present the showroom to the highest standards, ensuring instruments are clean, well displayed, and demonstration-ready.

Support in-store events, workshops, concerts, and promotional activities.

Keep up to date with Yamaha products, industry developments, and competitor offerings.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• Previous experience in a retail or consultative sales environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service focus with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Confident working towards sales targets and KPIs.

Well organised with excellent attention to detail.

Professional, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Ability to work weekends and during busy retail periods.

Desirable

• Knowledge of pianos, keyboards, or musical instruments.

Playing ability on piano or another instrument.

Experience within the music retail industry.

Passion for music and music education.
