Transport and Operations Manager

Operations and Transport Manager required with PCV licence required.

Role offers an exciting opportunity with passenger transport knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery, managing drivers and operational staff, coordinating fleet availability, and maintaining high customer satisfaction while meeting financial and regulatory targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day coach operations, ensuring services run safely, punctually, and efficiently
• Full responsibility for driver scheduling, route planning, and resource allocation to meet operational demands
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, licensing, tachograph rules, and health & safety standards - full understanding of UK Domestic Hours and EU Drivers hours and the Working Time Regulations, and DVSA Earned Recognition standard
• Supervise, train, and support drivers and operational staff, including performance management and disciplinary processes
• Coordinate with Maintenance teams to ensure fleet availability, roadworthiness, and defect reporting
• Coordinate with Sales teams to ensure fleet availability and optimum vehicle and driver planning
