Accounts Payable Assistant

Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a manufacturing company who are urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties:

* Prepare weekly BACS runs and payments.

* Reconcile daily multicurrency bank accounts.

* Investigate and resolve bank discrepancies.

* Update cash-flow reporting.

* Manage the Accounts Payable inbox.

* Process and post stock and non-stock invoices.

* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.

* Maintain petty-cash controls and records.

* Improve purchase-ledger processes and controls.

* Support ad hoc finance requests.

Requirements:

* 2 years experience in an accounts payable position

* Previous experience using an ERP system

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary and information:

* £28,000 - £30,000

* Generous benefits

* Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home
