You will help minimise downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure company facilities remain in excellent condition. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician - Plumber to provide maintenance, repair and general building support across our site. You will help minimise downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure company facilities remain in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance across buildings and utilities. Undertake general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical work, decorating and grounds maintenance. Complete maintenance records, inspections and compliance documentation accurately. Conduct routine health & safety checks and address any issues identified. Coordinate and support external contractors on site. Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs to buildings and utilities. Report breakdowns, maintenance issues and repair requirements promptly. Maintain technical records and ensure maintenance procedures are followed. Support continuous improvement projects and undertake other reasonable duties as required. General plumbing tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment Assist in the construction and refurbishment of new and existing properties Travel to various sites as requiredQualifications Experience working in a facilities team. Appropriate qualification in either:-Commercial Plumbing NVQ level 3 or Equivalent & Gas Safe qualification Qualified and certified for G3 unvented hot water system Able to maintain and build effective internal and external relationships Drainage Qualification desirable Air Condition installation and decommissioning desirable Mobile Boom certificate (IPAF) Mobile Access Towers (PASMA) Proven experience in general plumbing and facilities maintenance Strong problem-solving skills Willingness to travel and work at different locations Excellent communication and teamwork skillsSolus, who are owned by Aviva, are one of the UK leaders in vehicle repairs, returning cars to the road in just 11 days on average and a 4.6/5 star customer rating.
