Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:RecyclingAdvisor Conductsurveysandassessmentsofresidentialpropertiestounderstandcurrentrecyclingbehavioursandidentifybarrierstoparticipation.

Engagedirectlywithresidentsthroughdoor-to-doorvisits,communityeventsandroadshowstopromotefoodrecycling,packagingrecyclingandgeneralwastereduction.

Providetailoredadviceandpracticalinformationtoresidentsaboutthecorrectuseofrecyclingservices.

Monitorparticipationlevels,capturefeedbackfromresidents,andhelpidentifyareasrequiringfurtherinterventionortargetedcampaigns.

Assistinthedistributionofleafletsandothermaterialstoencouragecorrectrecyclingpractices.

Supportcommunicationcampaignsandsocialmediacontentbyfeedinginlocalinsightsandexamples.

Maintainaccuraterecordsofvisits,surveys,engagementactivitiesandresidentfeedback.

Workcloselywithotherteams(e.g.collections,communications,enforcement)tohelpaddresslocalrecyclingchallenges.

Undertakeotherduties,commensuratewiththegrade,asmayreasonablyberequired.

AboutyouRecyclingAdvisor Goodgeneraleducation(e.g.GCSEsorequivalent).

Experienceofworkingdirectlywiththepublic,ideallythroughoutreach,communityengagement,salesoradvisorywork.

Awarenessofrecycling,foodwasteandwiderenvironmentalissues(trainingcanbeprovided).

Relevanttrainingincustomerservice,communityengagementorsustainability Experienceofrecordingandreportingdataaccurately(e.g.surveys,CRMsystems,Excel).

Confidentcommunicator,abletoengagewithresidentsfromarangeofbackgroundsinapoliteandpersuasiveway.
