MEP Electrical Director

Your new company A highly regarded independent building services engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Director to join its senior leadership team and lead the electrical discipline within a well-established Building Services division.

Your new role Based in a South East England office (with hybrid working available), you will take ownership of the electrical engineering function, working closely with mechanical, sustainability, and architectural teams to deliver complex, design-led projects across multiple sectors.

The consultancy has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, collaborative working, and long-term client relationships, and is now looking to strengthen its leadership as part of continued growth.

Projects & Sectors You will be involved in a wide range of high-quality projects, including: Residential developments (high-end, private, and multi-unit schemes) Commercial offices
- new build and refurbishment Education, healthcare, and public sector projects Mixed-use and regeneration schemes Projects delivered from RIBA Stage 1 feasibility and concept design through to construction and handover What you'll need to succeed Provide technical and strategic leadership for the electrical discipline Lead the delivery of complex electrical design solutions across multiple projects Act as the senior client interface on key accounts Manage and mentor engineers, associates, and project leads Contribute to business development, bids, and fee proposals Support workload planning, resourcing, and team growth Ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and commercial performance What you'll get in return Salary circa £110,000 Attractive bonus structure Senior-level benefits package Clear influence over strategy and technical direction Long-term progression within a stable, design-focused consultancy Flexible and hybrid working environment This role represents an excellent opportunity for a senior Electrical Engineer or Associate Director looking to step into a Director-level leadership position within a respected and forward-thinking consultancy.
