Domestic Supervisor

Location: CambridgeContract: Full-time, PermanentStart date: ASAP (within the coming month)Salary:£25,000 – £26,000 per annumWorking pattern:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 1:30pm
• One Saturday every three weeks
• 42 weeks per year (term-time plus inset weeks)

REED is working in partnership with a highly regarded educational setting in Cambridge to recruit a Domestic Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaning or housekeeping professional to take on a supervisory role within a well-established and supportive education environment.

The Role

As Domestic Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the domestic services team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting the cleaning/domestic team
• Organising daily staffing rotas and workloads
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and infection control
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and equipment
• Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues
• Acting as a key point of contact for on-site stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, or Manager
• Strong people management and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Experience working to strict cleaning and hygiene standards (education or similar setting desirable) xwzovoh
• The ability to work early mornings and occasional Saturdays
