Wiring Production Operative

Jobstore is recruiting two people to join our client's production section. You'll be doing hands-on wire preparation and assembly work, to a high standard, as part of a small team.

Monday to Thursday operating days - 38 hours 7.00am to 5.00pm

Duties

• Twisting wires to specification
• Tinning wire ends
• Fitting and heat-shrinking sleeving and terminations
• Checking your own work for quality, and following drawings or work instructions
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy and following health and safety procedures

About you

• Previous experience of wire twisting, tinning, soldering or electronics or cable assembly is essential
• Good manual dexterity, eyesight and attention to detail
• Able to work accurately and consistently in a repetitive task
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player
• Right to work in the UK

As a Wire Technician specialising in twisting, tinning and heat shrink, you will prepare and assemble wire components with care and consistency. You'll follow work instructions, use appropriate tools and check each assembly for quality. Your impact: accurate, dependable wire assemblies help colleagues complete electrical builds smoothly and support reliable finished equipment.
