Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Leicester. This is a permanent role, focusing on the development and maintenance of infrastructure projects, particularly in highways and drainage systems.Key Responsibilities:Leading and managing infrastructure development projectsPreparing technical assessments (TA) and flood risk assessments (FRA)Designing and implementing highway and drainage solutionsUtilising software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3DCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project successProviding technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineersEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsConducting site visits and office-based project management three days a weekJob Requirements:Significant experience in civil engineering, specifically in development infrastructureStrong proficiency in MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3DExperience in highways and drainage project design and implementationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects effectivelyStrong communication and collaboration skillsRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualificationChartership is beneficial but not essentialBenefits:25 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysOption to carry over 5 days of annual leave1 additional day of annual leave for every year of serviceIncome protection scheme covering 80% for up to 2 years for long-term sick leaveStandard pension schemeIf you are a dedicated Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and are looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
