Infrastructure Engineer (3rd Line)

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys getting hands-on with technology rather than being restricted to one specialist area?

Would you like a role where approximately 70% of your time is dedicated to infrastructure projects, with the opportunity to work across servers, networking, virtualisation, cloud technologies and cyber security?

We're recruiting for an established international manufacturing organisation that is investing heavily in modernising its IT infrastructure across multiple UK and European sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer looking for greater technical variety, interesting projects and the chance to make a genuine impact.

The Role

You'll join an established infrastructure and operations team responsible for supporting a large, complex, multi-site IT environment.

With approximately 70% of your time focused on projects, you'll be involved in a wide variety of infrastructure improvements, upgrades and deployments. Some of the key projects include:

Data Centre Modernisation: Replacing infrastructure and migrating virtual environments supporting over 100 servers.
