Senior Practitioner – Family Support & SafeguardingLondon Borough of Barking & DagenhamKey Duties:Manage and oversee complex safeguarding and family support cases.Provide high-quality case supervision, guidance and support to Social Workers.Undertake assessments, safeguarding enquiries and intervention planning.Support effective multi-agency working and partnership with families.Promote positive outcomes for children, young people and families.Contribute to service development, quality assurance and best practice.Key Skills & Experience:Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work experience.Strong knowledge of safeguarding, assessment and child protection procedures.Experience managing complex and high-risk cases.Ability to provide professional supervision and practice guidance.Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills.Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies and statutory frameworks.
