About the role
ROLE OVERVIEWWe are currently looking for a Manager, QMS and Compliance to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization based in the UK to support their Quality Department. This exciting opportunity allows a dedicated quality professional to take charge of the site’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality operational practices.As a crucial part of our client’s team, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the QMS, Regulatory Affairs, Validation, and GMP/Technical Training functions, all within a regulated environment committed to excellence and patient safety.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESYour duties as the Manager, QMS and Compliance will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:Lead and manage the site's Quality Management System activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.Maintain and oversee regulatory filings, including interactions with agencies such as the FDA and MHRA.Safeguard Swindon campus compliance with legal licenses, GMP, and other legal requirements.Develop, monitor, and improve systems that establish and uphold quality standards aligned with regulatory and customer expectations.As the Manager, you will ensure effective training of staff on cGMP principles, site procedures, and company policies, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.ROLE REQUIREMENTSTo be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Manager, QMS and Compliance, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:A Degree or higher level in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or physical sciences.Proven extensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with previous management experience.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.An engaged and proactive approach to work, aligned with strategic objectives and continuous improvement efforts.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Joining our client offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment where your expertise contributes directly to patient safety and product quality.
