Material Handling Solutions Design Engineer

We are seeking a material handling Solutions Design Engineer on a permanent basis for a expanding business.  Your role will be to analyse, model and design automated material handling systems for customers including producing technical documents. You will analyse requirements, model data flows, design solutions, work with suppliers to select the most appropriate equipment, refine designs and assess their feasibility. All drawings will need to adhere to industry standards and best practice.  The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing material handling systems with expert CAD software skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and also strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.  The role will be hybrid based with office being in Northamptonshire and offering a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience plus car allowance of £5,000 and company bonus.
