Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Hill & Hill Recruitment are currently working with a leading main contractor who are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in London. This Assistant Quantity Surveyor role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to progress into a Quantity Surveyor position with a well-established contractor delivering projects across education, healthcare, residential and refurbishment sectors. The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support Senior Quantity Surveyors across both live projects and pre-construction activities, including two-stage tenders, subcontract procurement and package management. Duties: * Assisting with subcontract procurement * Supporting two-stage tender processes * Assisting with valuations and variations * Supporting package management and cost reporting * Working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors on live projects * Liaising with subcontractors and site teams Requirements: * 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor * Main contractor experience essential * Exposure to two-stage tenders and subcontract procurement * Experience working on D&B projects * Good communication and organisational skills * Degree qualified or working towards a Quantity Surveying qualification Package: * £45,000 - £55,000 DOE * Competitive package * Strong career progression * Supportive commercial team * Exposure to high-profile projects across London and the South East
