Quality Civil Engineer

Warden Tyne Solutions are currently recruiting multiple QA/QC Civil Engineers for a civil engineering project. Roles & Responsibilities * Manage and implement QA/QC procedures, ITPs, Method Statements and Quality Plans. * Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete pours, curing, construction joints and associated RC works. * Conduct and coordinate IRs, pre-pour inspections, material inspections and testing. * Monitor concrete quality, including slump, temperature, cube testing and delivery records. * Review drawings, specifications, material approvals and technical submissions. * Identify, record and close out NCRs, defects and corrective actions. * Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports and test documentation. * Liaise with the client, consultant, subcontractors and site teams on quality matters. * Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance. * Support project handover, snagging and final quality documentation. The Person * Civil Engineering background * Experience on major infrastructure/civil engineering projects * Minimum HNC/HND in Civil Engineering * Valid CSCS card (Essential) Terms * Competitive hourly rate * Uplifts for nights (1.4x), Sat (1.5x) and Sunday & weekend nights (2x) * Accommodation provided for those living over 1 hour from the project * PSC/Ltd or CIS available (subject to assessment) * 7-day payment terms
