Structural / Temporary Works Design Engineer 📍 Maidstone | 💰 Up to £50,000 | 🏗 Hybrid Working Are you a Structural Engineer with experience in Temporary Works? Looking to work on challenging construction projects while progressing toward Chartership? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Maidstone. 🔍 What You'll Be Doing You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: ✔ Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support ✔ Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes ✔ Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software ✔ Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams ✔ Attending site visits and inspections when required ✔ Supporting design reviews and project coordination 🧠 What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you have: 🎓 A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 📊 Around 3–6 years’ experience in structural or temporary works design 📐 Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures 💻 Experience with structural analysis and CAD software 🏆 Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable) 🎁 What You'll Get 💰 Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience 🏡 Hybrid / flexible working 📈 Support toward Chartership 🌴 25 days holiday + bank holidays 💼 Pension scheme 📚 Professional development and training 📩 Interested?
