Job Title: Healthcare Assistant Clinical & Personal Support Location: Fareham, Hampshire Hours: 16-hour day shifts with 8-hour sleepovers (24-hour shifts), minimum 6 shifts per month.

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide clinical, personal, and domestic support to a 46-year-old male with a spinal-cord injury.
You will help him live his professional, personal, and social life independently, working as part of a small, supportive care team.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Personal Care: Bladder/bowel management, bathing, dressing, shaving, oral care, medication administration, eating support, physiotherapy, and exercises.
Social Support: Accompany to medical appointments, work, social events, exercise, pet care, and UK or international trips.
Domestic Duties: Cooking, meal prep, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, light gardening.
Flexibility to cover team absences and adapt to daily needs.
Requirements: Comfortable providing personal and clinical care in a home environment.
Full UK driving license (no endorsements) and willingness to drive employers vehicle.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, occasionally staying away.
Eligible to work in the UK; pass an enhanced DBS and criminal records check.
Reliable, flexible, positive, honest, and able to work independently.
Understanding of home care and spinal-cord injuries preferred, or willingness to train.
Comfortable around pets (dogs) and assisting with their care.
Benefits: Competitive pay: £15.45/hr weekdays/weekends, £95.12 sleepover, £12.71 training/shadow shifts, enhanced rates for bank holidays.
28 days annual leave (incl.
public holidays) and pension.
Fully supported induction, on-shift shadowing, and ongoing training.
