We are recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers to join Childrens Homes in the Channel Islands. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in a stunning location, with supportive management, a highly rewarding role, and excellent benefits.

You will be part of a parenting team providing a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people looked after by the Council. Youll work flexibly to meet their needs including shift work, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays (paid at 2x rate).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and support for children and young people living in the home.
Build trusting, nurturing relationships and act as a positive role model.
Support childrens emotional, social, and educational development.
Contribute to individual care plans and maintain accurate records.
Work in partnership with families, social workers, schools, and other agencies. xwzovoh
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and equality & diversity procedures.
Requirements:

Essential:

Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care or Residential
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Awareness of safeguarding and child development
Good communication skills and basic IT knowledge
Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable:

Previous experience in a residential or care setting
Knowledge of Care Standards or trauma-informed practice
