Customer Delivery Assistant Severn Beach £12.81 per hour 7am starts Job Purpose As a Customer Delivery Assistant, you will support Delivery and Installation Drivers in providing a professional and efficient home delivery service. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive their products safely, on time, and with exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities * Assist with the delivery, installation and demonstration of products including white goods, televisions and cookers. * Provide excellent customer service, keeping customers informed throughout the delivery process. * Use handheld devices to accurately complete deliveries and obtain customer signatures. * Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delivery updates or issues. * Handle products safely and follow all manual handling and health & safety procedures. * Secure and manage vehicle loads using appropriate equipment. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer and business needs are met. * Maintain professional standards and represent the company positively at all times. * Complete any required training and keep knowledge up to date. Skills & Experience * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. * Understanding of safe manual handling and health & safety practices. * Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
