We also provide digital and training transformation solutions to commercial and military customers.With circa 2000 employees and major facilities operating throughout the UK including Broughton (Wales), Livingston and Glenrothes (Scotland), and Harlow, Gloucester, and Manchester (England); we are committed to investing in British careers and technology development.Reporting to the Finance Manager within the ACTS (Army Collective Training Service) Programme, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality, accurate and actionable financial analysis and insight to the Finance and Programme teams.The individual will be relied upon to support the development of the AOP and 5 Year Plan, Quarterly EACs, monthly forecasting and variance analysis. Supporting new business proposals as and when required for Gate Reviews including pricing, basis-of-estimate generation, foreign exchange management and risks and opportunities management.Act as the “financial conscience” of the business and ensure Business and Financial Policy adherence.Providing financial insight to support the business risk & opportunities process (development, analysis, mitigation & review).Building a network with all Stakeholders.Ability to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlinesStrong communication across varying functions and levels with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance staffChampion best practice and look to improve systems and processes.Ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support.Skills and ExperienceEssential:AAT Qualified/ Part Qualified CIMA(Preferred)/ACCA2+ Relevant years’ experience in finance rolesProject Accounting experienceBusiness Partnering skills, working across different internal functionsRelevant commercial experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environmentDesirable:Experience of working with SAP, Power BI, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Proactive, analytical and inquisitiveAttention to detail and process adherenceHighly organised and self-motivatedExcellent communication and presentation skills#LI-MF1RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
