About the role

Location: Cardiff, South Wales Type: Full-Time | Permanent Sector: Infrastructure / Civil Engineering We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme, supporting the commercial delivery of complex civil engineering works from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Managing project costs and commercial performance. * Preparing valuations, applications for payment, and cost reports. * Administering subcontractor packages, including procurement and payments. * Managing variations, change control, and contractual matters. * Supporting project forecasting and risk management activities. * Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures. * Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful outcomes. Requirements * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. * Previous experience working on infrastructure or civil engineering projects. * Strong understanding of NEC contracts. * Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills. * Proficient in cost reporting and contract administration. * Membership of RICS or working towards chartership is desirable.
