Commercial Gas Engineer

We’re currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing and well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a long-term position with a company that values its people and offers excellent earning potential. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of service, maintenance, breakdown and repair work across commercial sites. You’ll be working with a variety of commercial heating and gas systems, ensuring equipment is operating safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations. The role will involve travelling to customer sites, carrying out planned and reactive works, diagnosing faults and providing a professional service to customers. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair commercial gas and heating systems * Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance * Complete installations and minor remedial works where required * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard * Complete relevant paperwork and service reports * Maintain excellent customer relationships * Ensure all work complies with current gas regulations and health & safety requirements * Work independently while also supporting the wider engineering team What We’re Looking For * Commercial Gas qualifications and relevant experience * Strong experience within commercial gas/heating engineering * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Good understanding of current gas regulations * Full UK driving licence * Professional and customer-focused approach * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Good communication skills * A reliable and hardworking attitude What’s on Offer? * £40,000 – £50,000 salary, depending on experience * Full door-to-door pay * 40-hour working week * 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays * Overtime paid after 40 hours * Excellent overtime earning potential * Stable, long-term employment * Varied commercial work * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for further development and progression If you’re an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a company that offers a strong package, consistent work and excellent earning potential, we’d love to hear from you
