Nursery: Children 1st Clowne, High Street, Clowne, Chesterfield S43 4JX

Hours: Full Time and Part Time, Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus £500 welcome bonus

About our nursery:Supporting our local community is very important to us. We regularly visit a nearby residential home for dementia patients and actively fundraise for various local charities, nurturing a strong sense of community and belonging in our children.

We love helping our children connect with nature through our wonderful outdoor spaces, which provide a rich learning environment full of opportunities to explore, play, and discover the natural world.

About the role:As a Nursery Practitioner you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn.  Key activities include: 

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily 

• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions 

• Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments 

About you:

• A true love for child development and care 

• Able and willing to work in a team 

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents 

• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity 

• Role modelling remarkable practice with the intent to support others around you [mgnt roles] 

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework 

Must haves: 

• Early Years qualification at Level 3 

• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
