About the role
Wilsons of Rathkenny is a long-established, family-run multi-franchise dealership located on the Cushendall Road just outside Ballymena. Operating across passenger vehicles, agricultural machinery, groundcare equipment, commercial vehicles, and a state-of-the-art manufacturer-approved accident repair centre, we provide exceptional service from our modern 16-acre site.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our Aftersales Team.
The RoleThe successful candidate will work within our SEAT, Kia, and Vauxhall workshops, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections.
Carry out warranty and manufacturer-approved repair work.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Deliver excellent service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic with relevant industry qualifications.
Previous experience in a franchised dealership or automotive workshop environment is desirable.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Full UK driving licence.
Positive attitude and willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
