Hunter Dunning is managing this opportunity with full confidentiality.Role & ResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of building surveying duties across professional services and project management assignmentsUndertake site surveys including schedules of condition, defect diagnosis, and condition reportingPrepare detailed tender documentation for refurbishment and alteration works across multiple sectorsManage projects using JCT Intermediate and Design and Build contracts from inception to completionProduce clear and concise technical reports based on site inspections and survey findingsCarry out dilapidations, party wall matters, and feasibility assessments for client projectsSupport planned maintenance strategies through asset surveys and expenditure planning reportsUndertake fire risk assessments with training provided to develop competency in this areaSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum five years experience within a building surveying consultancy environmentProfessional membership such as MRICS or MCIOB or equivalent experience consideredStrong client facing skills with ability to manage relationships across private and public sectorsExperience delivering refurbishment or remedial project management across multiple building typesProven background in professional services including surveys, defect diagnosis, and reportingKnowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration processes within construction projectsStrong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyInterest or experience in fire risk assessments with willingness to undertake further trainingSalary & BenefitsSalary range between 55,000 and 70,000 depending on experience and levelHybrid working arrangement to support flexibility and work life balance22 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional Christmas closure periodHoliday entitlement increases annually after three years up to a maximum allowanceRegular CPD and training opportunities to support professional developmentContribution towards industry accreditations and professional membershipsSocial events and team activities to support collaborative working cultureWho Is This Role Ideal For?This role suits a Senior Building Surveyor seeking a balanced consultancy position.
