Position: KS3 SENCO

Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school in Watford who are looking to appoint an experienced KS3 SENCO to take responsibility for SEND provision across Years 7, 8 and 9.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENCO, Assistant SENCO or SEND leader looking to take ownership of KS3 provision while working closely alongside the school's whole-school SENCO.

The Role

You will take the lead on SEND provision throughout KS3, including:

Coordinating SEND support across Years 7-9
Managing and reviewing EHCPs, SEN Support and Provision Plans
Leading the Assess, Plan, Do, Review (APDR) process
Monitoring the progress, attendance and engagement of pupils with SEND
Coordinating targeted SEND interventions
Leading and contributing to EHCP Annual Reviews
Supporting applications for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments
Working closely with parents, carers and external professionals
