ACJ Search are supporting a Norfolk based organisation who are recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is focussed on delivering robust, manufacturable deigns and ensuring that products operate reliably under real-world conditions. You would be involved in the full development cycle from concept through to validation and product readiness. Key responsibilities of the role would include: Lead the mechanical design and integration of electric machines Define and develop thermal management strategies Own the design and integration of key components Integrate sensing solutions Carry out and guide design analysis We are keen to speak with people with the following skills and experience: Proven experience in electric machine design Experience designing rotor systems, including magnet retention and high-speed operation Experience with stator construction and winding integration Experience of working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
