Treasury Manager
£52,466 per annum - Grade 9
Leeds / Hybrid Full time / Permanent - 37 hours per week

Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part-time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for a Treasury Manager to join our Finance Team.

As Treasury Manager, you will oversee all aspects of treasury activity, from daily operations and investment decisions to cash flow forecasting, accounting and reporting. This is a key position for someone who brings strong technical knowledge, sound judgement and a proactive approach to ensuring our treasury strategy and processes are resilient, compliant and built for the future.

The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
· To provide a best-in-class Treasury Management function for the combined authority concerning all day-to-day operations, investment / lending activity, cash flow forecasting, accounting and management information reporting.
· Ensure that short-, medium- and long-term corporate cash requirements are fully understood and reported.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant standards including CIPFA and IFRS with regards to the treasury function demonstrates the efficient and effective use of resources; ensuring measures are taken to appropriately meet the strategic borrowing / investment requirements at the best possible outcome.

About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education, and experience:
· Holds a degree or has equivalent relevant experience in Treasury Management.
· Relevant professional qualification - CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with current membership of professional body.
· Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
· Demonstrable experience of public sector financing.
· Significant experience of policy frameworks, management structures and reporting procedures.
