Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator Location: Kempston, Bedford Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum Permanent Frontline Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join a well-established construction and electrical contracting business based in Kempston, Bedford. This is a busy and varied role supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination and administration of multiple construction projects. We’re looking for someone with previous construction industry experience who is highly organised, has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change. Key responsibilities: • Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration • Managing project documentation, files and spreadsheets • Coordinating information between project teams and stakeholders • Managing emails and project correspondence • Keeping project records accurate and up to date • Checking worker sign-in/out sheets • Maintaining holiday and absence records • Updating electronic timesheets to ensure accurate worker payments • Providing general administrative and project support The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience within the construction industry • Experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Construction Administrator, Contracts Administrator or similar • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills • Experience supporting or coordinating alongside Project Managers • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy project environment • Good communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction background looking to develop their career within project coordination, with opportunities for progression.
