About the role

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Moorfield Bedford who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Admin Manager this role will be based at: MK42 9DJ The right candidate will: * Be accountable for the delivery of services provided by the Division within available resources * Actively promote and develop new ways of working: continually review services * Identify and address service pressures, using own judgement to respond and deal with a range of routine and urgent situations and developments. This will require the planning, formulation, monitoring and review of action plans, policies and strategies * Directly line-manage senior administrator(s) within the Division. This will include the provision of a broad range of HR areas of work including: recruitment; achievement and maintenance of performance and quality standards * Monitor key workforce indicators (sickness absence, turnover etc.) that affect productivity and work with line managers and the Human Resources (HR) team to address issues of concern * To manage and authorise resource and to ensure they are provided within financial resources. * Accountable for validation and sign off for invoices against delegated budgets. * Support the Divisional Manager in the co-ordination of effective methods for determining patient/carer views on services provided, encouraging the patients/carers to participate in user strategy * Be responsible for investigating and responding to specific patient/ carer complaints as required, in line with Trust policy, ensuring a thorough investigation is undertaken, replies are produced to required standards in relation to timeframes and quality and ensure that they are sensitive to the needs of the patients and their families. Ensure lessons are learnt and corrective action is taken We require the following: * Previous proven operational management experience in the NHS or similar environment * Experience of analysing data, facts and other evidence to identify problems and to propose and implement solutions * Experience of line managing individuals and/or a team * Experience of working with staff to effect change, requiring negotiating and influencing skills To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed) If you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.
