As part of our continued growth, we are now looking for a Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Civil Engineering division supporting our clients across the Southwest of England. Abatec has the largest team of recruiters who specialise in Civil Engineering recruitment in the Southwest, you will be joining a successful, and high performing team.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality recruitment service, helping our clients attract and appoint talent that adds genuine value to their business, both in capability and cultural fit. We support our customers with a range of recruitment models, which include temporary, permanent and fixed term, supplying local candidates on nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates through job boards, CV databases, and networking
* Advertising vacancies across multiple platforms
* Pre-screening, qualifying, and interviewing candidates
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who has recruitment experience, who is people-focused, organised, and keen to develop their career in recruitment.
You’ll bring:
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
* Excellent attention to detail
* Clear, confident communication and strong organisational skills
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
