Role- Environmental Health Officer- Food Safety

Location- South of England

Duration- 6 months

Rate- £ dependent on experience

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

A client of mine working for a local authority is looking to hire an Environmental Health Officer, specializing in food safety, for the next 6 months due to a number of outstanding service requests.

The role is full-time, expecting 150-200 food inspections to take place within the next 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food hygiene inspections across category D and new/unrated premises
• Undertake food inspections across the Hertfordshire District
• Ensure all inspections align with the Food Standards Agency and Food Law Code of Practice

Desirable:

• Worked as a Food Safety Officer within an Environmental Health team at a local authority
• Local or willing to commute within Hertfordshire
• Ability to manage xwzovoh inspection workload independently

Please note, this role is Pay Per Inspection
