Through our role in the @one Alliance, we’re helping Anglian Water deliver a 2.6 billion investment in vital infrastructure. From civil works to water treatment facilities, this programme strengthens environmental protection across the East of England - safeguarding water resources for generations to come.We are currently looking for a Design Manager who will deliver design solutions for potable water non-infrastructure projects, including maintenance, groundwater abstraction, treatment upgrades, and emergency works.  As the Design Manager, you will:Lead engineering design delivery for potable water non-infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.Manage project plans and resources across scope, programme, cost, risk, and technical delivery.Collaborate across teams and supply chain to drive value, affordability, sustainability, and timely delivery.Ensure health, safety, and CDM compliance through effective risk management and design assurance.Lead and develop teams while driving innovation, continuous improvement, digital adoption, and low-carbon design.We are looking for:Chartered or working towards Chartered status in a relevant engineering discipline.Proven experience in the water sector, ideally on potable water non-infrastructure treatment projects.Good knowledge of UK water industry regulations and a strong willingness to learn and develop.Strong people management skills with a collaborative and adaptable communication style.Focused on quality, risk, and opportunity management, with a right-first-time approach and awareness of programme impacts.What we offer: * 24/7 digital GP service for you and your family  * Financial wellbeing and employee assistance  * Professional development  * Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)  Inclusion and Diversity  We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
